The CDC has failed
Agency to change course, but offers no details
If you’re age 65 or above, the Covid-19 Pandemic will hunt you down and kill you.
I was going to write something witty about being 70 plus.
But there’s nothing funny about the devastation Covid-19 has visited on the post 65 age group.
The toll among those Americans age 65 and older amounts to at least 750,000 — three quarters of the total deaths from the virus.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention neither controlled nor prevented a scourge of deaths among those over 65.
Three out of four Covid-19 fatalities are in the Social Security benefit age groups.
This comes as the US blew by the 1 million fatality mark in the Covid-19 pandemic.
This pandemic was personal. My neighbor’s mother died from Covid-19. We likely all know someone who was very sick or died from Covid-19.
Which led me to recall a recent development in Washington, DC.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced a one-month review that began April 11 to strengthen programming and gather suggestions for “strategic change.”
