Nova’s our third shelter rescue, snatched from a West Virginia kill shelter as we said goodbye to Lucy and grieved Tessa. I loved this story. Nova’s a black and tan raccoon hound. Now at ten human years, she’s still romping in the yard and chasing bunnies. We’re her service parents and couldn’t be happier as she eases into her dog sixties. She loves the canine glucosamine tabs for those aches and pains.
