Dr. Rachel Wolensky is certainly well qualified to head CDC. The problem is it’s inbred culture of studying diseases to ridiculous ends at a time when speed is necessary. Suggest reading “The Premonition” by Michael Lewis. It’s flawed and incomplete, but captures the hapless state of public health early in the pandemic. Thanks for reading!
