Born and raised in/near Boston. The view from the Esplanade, a walking, cycling and running paved pathway beside the Charles River is extraordinary. East Boston, across Boston Harbor from downtown, offers restaurants and nice skyline views. Don’t miss the Massachusetts State House overlooking Boston Common. The beautiful Boston Public Garden with its equestrian statue of George Washington is filled with seasonal floral displays. I like The Boston Sail Loft restaurant next to Columbus Park for its world class chowder. Boat tours travel to Boston’s beautiful harbor islands, with a beautiful park built from gravel and soil from the “Big Dig” a favorite. 👍
